Library-lördag på Rundgång!

Jag har köpt in en unik samling Library skivor. Unik på det sättet att den är stor och att många av dem är ytterst svåra att få tag på. 350 st ungefär och dessa ställer jag ut lördagen den 25/2. Priserna ligger mellan 100-1000:-. Mycket från skivbolagen Bruton Music, Music De Wolfe, April Orchestra, Boosey & Hawkeys, TVMusic - Chappell, CAM, Patchwork, Rouge mfl mfl... Ett perfekt tillfälle att antingen utöka din redan påbörjade samling eller påbörjar en ny. Men vad är då Library Music? Ja, enklast kan jag nog beskriva det som musik gjord för film och TV. När nån köpte dessa skivor fick de oftast rättigheterna att använda musiken som de ville på köpet, detta gjorde att skivorna var dyra redan från början. I efterhand har folk upptäckt att här fanns sjukt bra musik gjord av sjukt bra musiker som många gånger leker runt i studion och testar synthar och trummaskiner och stilar de i vanliga fall inte spelar. Här finns mycket funk, jazz, electro, synth från 1960 - 80-talet men även orkestral musik och konstiga ljud och effekter. A perfect opportunity to either expand your already commenced collection or start a new one. But then what is Library Music? Yes, the easiest way to describe it as music made for film and television. In retrospect, people have discovered that this was awesome music made of awesome musicians who often play around in the studio and test synthesizers and drum machines and styles they do not ordinarily play. There are a lot of funk, jazz, electronica 60-80 century but also orchestral music and strange sounds and effects. Bring your big wallet and sharp elbows, this is a unique opportunity.
